HSIANG Pin Hsun

LIVES AND WORKS IN AUSTRALIA

Biography

HSIANG Pin Hsun is a Chinese born Australian sculptor. Pin studied art and sculpture under master Yan You Ren in Shanghai China where he was born. Since 1988, Pin has worked and lived in Sydney with his studio in the Eastern suburbs for the last 15 years. Over the past 12 years, Pin held exhibitions regularly in Australia and overseas. Pin has created award winning works which have been selected into many private collections of the member of The Sculptors Society. Pin has a passion for traveling having been to more than 100 countries over the past 30 years. He is deeply influenced by the culture of each country, creating artistic works and symbols with a distinct style. Pin works primarily with Australian timbers but has also incorporated a number of other elements into his works including marble, bronze, wire and other metals. Pin’s sculpture “Tired Lady” is collected by Parliament of NSW.
